Since 2024 I live and work in Valencia where I combine various activities professionally.
Through my own company Waterwise I focus on challenges in water management. Our philosophy is that water is the world’s most undervalued resource and want to change that. We want to unlock water’s full commercial, environmental and social value and potential. We focus on topics like integral water resource management, flood risk, urban water management and remote sensing solutions. Our ambition is to combine Dutch and Spanish expertise on these topics globally. We deliver consulting and management services as well as digital platform solutions. .

With SAALG Geomechanics I create new business opportunities in the geotechnical engineering industry, where we provide data-driven software solutions. We operate globally and are active in civil projects like construction, infrastructure, tunnelling as well as mining and offshore. Our partners and clients are engineering firms, general contractors and asset owners.
